Job Description:

Who Are We Looking For? (Candidate Profile)

  • Education: Completed IT vocational training / apprenticeship (e.g., Fachinformatiker) or a comparable technical qualification.
  • Experience: Entry-level to Junior, with initial hands-on practical experience in IT support, service desk, or user help desk environments.
  • Language Skills: English (Fluent/Operating Language) is required, alongside a high proficiency in German (C2).
  • Location & Availability: 100% on-site availability in Hallbergmoos (Landkreis Freising, Germany). Please note: there is no remote option for this role.
  • Security Clearance: Willingness and eligibility to undergo a standard security clearance process due to the nature of the projects.

Technical Core Competencies:

  • Working knowledge of Windows client OS and Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, basic networking, and general IT infrastructure.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and document technical issues in a structured, service-oriented manner.

Nice-to-Have Skills (Plus):

  • Familiarity with ITSM/ticketing tools and CMDB concepts.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes (ITIL Foundation certification is a great asset or willingness to obtain it).
  • Exposure to international or multicultural corporate environments.

Key Responsibilities and Challenges:

  • First-Level Support: Act as the single point of contact for incoming IT inquiries and incident reports from users.
  • Ticket Management: Register, qualify, document, and monitor open tickets within the ITSM tool, ensuring strict compliance with SLAs.
  • Issue Resolution: Perform initial analysis and resolve technical issues directly at the first-level stage whenever possible, or escalate to higher support teams when required.
  • Documentation: Support CMDB data quality and maintain knowledge base articles.
  • IT Asset Management: Assist with hardware issuance, equipment exchange, returns, and proper asset documentation.
